Master Peace releases new EP ‘Stupid Kids’ and shares latest singles

Indie disruptor Master Peace returns with his highly anticipated new EP, Stupid Kids, a bold, revealing project that sharpens everything that has made him one of the UK’s most compelling new voices in indie..

Unapologetic and unmistakably his own, across the project’s six-track we see Peace pushing his sound and storytelling further than ever before. Led by new singles ‘My Guitar’ and ‘Stupid Kids’, the EP – out now via Big Family Music – unites blistering indie sonics with sharp social reflection. Produced by heavyweights Dan Carey and Julian Bunetta, Stupid Kids is loud, raucous and instantly recognisable – music that hits hard while looking inward.

The title track is an anthemic rallying cry, built for the festival main stages and arenas Peace has grown increasingly comfortable commanding over the past year. ‘My Guitar’ leans fully into his indie-sleaze instincts, with a punchy, electroclash-tinged sound, pairing distorted, crashing guitars with raw social commentary.

At its core, Stupid Kids is a record about growing up misunderstood. Drawing from Peace’s own experiences navigating neurodiversity, expectation and self-belief, the EP explores themes of resilience and defiance. Dedicated to today’s youth – the overlooked, the out-of-place, the written-off – it’s a confident and candid statement from an artist unafraid to tell his story on his own terms.

Alongside the latest singles, the EP brings together acclaimed pre-released singles ‘There’s No More Underground’, ‘Spin The Block’, ‘Good Times’ and ‘F**k It Up (ft. Declan McKenna)’ – Peace’s most impactful launch to date. The latter landed on Spotify playlists including New Music Friday (UK & US), Our Generation, The Indie List, Indie Brandneu and Indie Arrivals, alongside airplay from Apple Music 1, BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 6, underlining his growing reach.

Alongside the music, Peace has recently begun speaking openly for the first time about his experiences with autism and ADHD. Through his new Instagram series ‘Peace Of Mind’, he reflects on these experiences, which have proven to be conversations that have resonated deeply with fans facing similar journeys. This advocacy continues offline, as his recent ‘Peace McKenna’ fan event sold out, welcoming 300 new fans and raising funds for music therapy charity Nordoff and Robbins.
