Rosellas unveil, ‘Beautiful Lonely’, serving as their first release of 2026 and the first single from their upcoming EP, Shadow Dancing.
The band comment on the new release: “Beautiful Lonely is a song about looking for answers, both in other people and within yourself. We thought the mirror imagery was a nice way to show the way people present different versions of themselves, and how there can be a difference between the versions of ourselves that we present to the world, and the versions of ourselves we are when we’re alone (i.e. when we look in the mirror). It has that fairytale feeling of “mirror, mirror on the wall…” which we liked”.
‘Beautiful Lonely’ & upcoming five track EP Shadow Dancing are dropping via Glasgow-based label First Run Records in May 2026, after Rosellas signed a multi-EP record deal with the forward thinking and artist-led label.

Last year Rosellas wasted no time in releasing plenty of new music, with their infectious indie rock Every Beautiful Night EP followed by a reimagined version featuring all tracks performed acoustically: ‘Every Beautiful Night: Sundown Edition’. 2026 sees the Mancunian quartet lining up for the ‘Shadow Dancing’ UK tour throughout March and April.
The new wave of tunes are inspired by a mix of artists ranging from the singalong choruses of Sam Fender to the psychedelic, reverb-soaked guitars associated with Pink Floyd, embracing cutting-edge production techniques and whispery harmonies. The band look to build on what was an incredibly successful year in 2025 with appearances on talkSPORT’s Weekend Breakfast for an interview and acoustic performance, gaining features on Radio-X’s X-Posure with John Kennedy and multiple sport playlisting spots across DSPs.
