Mancunian indie rockers Rosellas share, ‘Better Love’, the second single from the band's upcoming Shadow Dancing EP.
On their latest single, the band say, “Better Love is almost sung in third person, as if it’s a promise to yourself that things will get better. There is a real nostalgic feel to the lyrics, as if you’re looking back on your life and wondering where the time has gone. It’s almost saying we might not be where we had wanted to be in life by this point, but that’s ok.
“Better Love is also another song where the tonality of the drums really shines through the mix. The acoustics – along with the Nashville strung Taylor – lock in with the drum beat to drive the song forward but in a gentle and mellow manner. We played the electric guitars sparingly to leave lots of space in the mix for delay throws and reverb tails in the vocal to create an intentional balance in the atmosphere.”

‘Better Love’ and previous single ‘Beautiful Lonely’ & upcoming five track EP Shadow Dancing are dropping via Glasgow-based label First Run Records in May 2026, after Rosellas signed a multi-EP record deal with the forward thinking and artist-led label.
The Shadow Dancing EP setting the tone of this next chapter for the Mancunian indie rock group, who are following up on their incredibly busy year of releases and live gigging in 2025. The band are set to take the new tracks on the road across the UK as part of the ‘Shadow Dancing’ UK tour throughout April.
The new wave of tunes are inspired by a mix of artists ranging from the singalong choruses of Sam Fender to the psychedelic, reverb-soaked guitars associated with Pink Floyd, embracing cutting-edge production techniques and whispery harmonies. The band look to build on what was an incredibly successful year in 2025 with appearances on talkSPORT’s Weekend Breakfast for an interview and acoustic performance, gaining features on Radio-X’s X-Posure with John Kennedy and multiple sport playlisting spots across DSPs.
