Shenseea has solidified her place as one of music’s most in-demand rising stars. Revered for her confident, slick-tongued patois rhymes—known as toasting in her native Jamaica—and energetic reworkings of dancehall hits, Shenseea’s skills as a singer, rapper and songwriter earned stamps of approval from The New York Times, The Guardian, Billboard and more, and from legends like Funkmaster Flex and Missy Elliott.

Her debut album, Alpha, debuted on Billboard’s Reggae Album chart, making her the first Jamaican artist in many years to reach such heights. Featuring collaborations with Megan Thee Stallion, 21 Savage, Tyga, Sean Paul, and Offset, Alpha (2022) showcased the 29-year-old’s versatility across genres like R&B, pop, reggae, dancehall, and rap.
