Premier League GW33 predictions

Brentford v Fulham

A West London derby kicks off the weekend’s Premier League action on Saturday lunchtime, as Keith Andrews’ Bees look to extend their five game unbeaten run and maintain their grip on a spot in Europe next season. The visitors will be looking to bounce back from last weekend’s defeat at Liverpool.

Adam: Brentford 2-0 Fulham
Sport Playlists: Brentford 1-1 Fulham

Leeds United v Wolverhampton Wanderers

After their win at Old Trafford on Monday, Leeds will be looking to pull themselves even further away from the relegation battle, with a win for the hosts potentially confirming relegation for their opponents depending on how other results go this weekend.

Adam: Leeds 1-1 Wolves
Sport Playlists: Leeds 2-0 Wolves

Newcastle United v AFC Bournemouth

Eddie Howe’s side will be hoping to get back to winning ways after back-to-back defeats in the top flight against a Bournemouth side who have only lost once in the league in 2026 and are on a 12 game unbeaten run.

Adam: Newcastle 2-1 Bournemouth
Sport Playlists: Newcastle 1-1 Bournemouth

Tottenham Hotspur v Brighton & Hove Albion

Roberto De Zerbi’s first home game as Spurs head coach sees him take on his former side in Saturday’s tea-time kick-off, with the Seagulls in a fine run of five wins in their last six games that has put them firmly back in the hunt for a European spot next season.

Adam: Spurs 0-1 Brighton
Sport Playlists: Spurs 1-2 Brighton

Chelsea v Manchester United

Saturday’s evening clash at Stamford Bridge pits 3rd against 6th, with both looking to get back to winning ways after defeats to Man City and Leeds respectively last weekend. United came away with a 2-1 win win in the last meeting between the sides in September last year.

Adam: Chelsea 2-2 Man Utd
Sport Playlists: Chelsea 1-3 Man Utd

Aston Villa v Sunderland

One of three Sunday afternoon kick-offs sees Unai Emery’s side looking to maintain their grip on a spot in next season’s Champions League, taking on a Sunderland side with an outside chance of qualifying for Europe next season.

Adam: Villa 3-0 Sunderland
Sport Playlists: Villa 1-0 Sunderland

Everton v Liverpool

The first Merseyside derby at the Hill Dickinson Stadium sees the fierce rivals separated by five points going into Sunday’s clash. Aren Slot’s side picked up a 2-1 win when they faced off at Anfield last September.

Adam: Everton 1-2 Liverpool
Sport Playlists: Everton 1-1 Liverpool

Nottingham Forest v Burnley

A vital game at the bottom end of the Premier League table for both sides, with Vítor Pereira’s hosts three points above the relegation zone and on a four game unbeaten run. The visitors are looking for their first win in seven games, with their fight to stay up looking all but impossible with six games to go.

Adam: Forest 0-0 Burnley
Sport Playlists: Forest 1-0 Burnley

Manchester City v Arsenal

One of the most anticipated games of the season so far between the Premier League’s top two at the Etihad Stadium in Sunday’s late game. A win for City would see them go three points behind the visitors, with a game in hand to play against Burnley the following Wednesday.

Adam: Man City 2-1 Arsenal
Sport Playlists: Man City 2-1 Arsenal

Crystal Palace v West Ham United

The final game of the weekend on Monday night is an all-London clash at Selhurst Park, with Oliver Glasner’s side unbeaten in their last three league games. The Hammers will be looking for a third win in their last five games as they look to keep themselves out of the bottom three.

Adam: Palace 0-1 West Ham
Sport Playlists: Palace 1-1 West Ham

About: The Pale White

Formed of brother duo Adam and Jack Hope, Newcastle alt rockers The Pale White headed into 2026 on the back of the success of their sophomore record The Big Sad. Not ones to rest on their laurels, the duo returned at the start of this year to announce details of their third album, Inanimate Objects of the 21st Century.

Released on March 27 via End of the Wall Recordings, the band’s latest album sees them return louder, sharper, and more defiant than ever. It’s their most expansive yet: a record that blends the anthemic punch of classic rock with the urgency and edge of modern alternative. You can listen to the latest single, ‘Float Away’ on Geordie Beats – our unofficial Newcastle United fan playlist.

How did you come to support your club and what are your favourite memories from your time as a fan?

Adam: Wallsend born and bred! Favourite memory has to be watching Shearer knock in his record-breaking goal against Portsmouth. St James’ erupted!

Who have been your favourite five players for the club?

Adam: Shearer for obvious reasons… I think Bruno Guimarães has cemented himself as a toon legend in recent times too. I’m going to throw Lewis Hall in there for sheer recency bias as he has single-handedly blown my mind this season. Then honourable mentions to Gazza & Peter Beardsley.

What are your thoughts on how the 2025/26 season has gone for your club?

Adam: There’s been numerous situations that have been detrimental to the season we could have hoped for. Losing our star player in Isak and the negative situation that surrounded all of that had a big impact, and late signings with Woltemade and Wissa, who have both struggled to find their feet with Nick being played out of position most of the season and Yoane starting with an injury.

The squad has been plagued with injuries losing important players like Bruno, Livramento, Miley, Schar, Burn… the list goes on and all at crucial points. All that being said, if we can still find a place in Europe I’ll be reasonably happy. On a more positive note, Osula’s goal vs Manchester United was one for the history books.

What’s going on for you as an artist at the moment?

Adam: It’s an important time for this band! We released two albums in the space of a year – The Big Sad & Inanimate Objects of the 21st Century – which are both sonically different to each other. Very proud to have been able to give the fans so much in a short period of time.

Currently touring the UK, then off to Shanghai, Milan and some Netherlands dates with everyone’s favourite rock band – Pixies. It’s an honour to share the stage with them!
