Oscar Farrell unveils new single, 'Slow Me Down', stepping back from the dancefloor energy of his most recent releases.
‘Slow Me Down’ puts his voice and songwriting at the centre whilst retaining the sound and production people know him for. The single highlights another side of his music and provides a great opportunity to introduce him to new audiences.
The release continues a remarkable run of activity for Farrell. Since releasing Birds Fly In in June, he has expanded his reputation as both producer and DJ through a series of increasingly high-profile collaborations, including a recent rework of ‘Don’t Play With Me’ by fellow London producer Braga Circuit, and a remix for Maribou State’s forthcoming deluxe edition of Hallucinating Love, while his music has also found its way into TEED’s recent DJ-Kicks mix – another nod to the growing respect Farrell commands amongst his peers.

Streaming momentum for Oscar has grown really well this year, especially with the recent remixes for Arlo Parks and Maribou State. On Spotify he has reached a new milestone of 180K monthly listeners.
Alongside the strong DSP support there has been more coverage coming in at press and radio. Oscar continued to feature in Dazed, Mixmag, DJ Mag, and Resident Advisor; he was also listed in this year’s NME 100 as well as Clash Magazine’s 26 Artists to Watch in 2026. Interviews with i-D and Crack were also strong additions to this year’s press coverage.
