Fast-rising UK four piece Call Me Amour celebrate the announcement of their new self-titled EP with brand new single, 'The Way That You Are'.
Speaking on the new single, guitarist Geoff Murphy comments: “‘The Way That You Are’ started life as a heavy rock/blues riff, but we wanted to give it a different energy, bringing in a dirty, bass-heavy sound inspired by our love of big electronic music, particularly Wiley’s ‘Brand New Rolex’ and Kele’s ‘Tenderoni’. We had a lot of fun with the video too, leaning into that 1950s high-school rock ’n’ roll vibe, with a little nod to our mutual love of Grease.”
Vocalist Harry Radford adds: “’The Way That You Are’ was one of those songs we kept pulling apart and putting back together until it finally clicked. We love the sound and energy of it, and the video was an absolute blast to shoot. There are definitely some nods to bands and iconic music videos we grew up loving, so I’m sure people will spot a few influences.”

After years of evolving, experimenting and pushing into different corners of their sound, Call Me Amour feel they’ve finally found what represents them best. Recorded at Amour Studios on the Isle of Man, the EP brings those influences together into their most focused and confident release to date. Speaking on the EP, the band adds: “We’re incredibly proud of this record. It feels like everything we’ve explored as a band has led us here.”
The band will be hitting the road with Australian pop-metal favourites Melrose Avenue on their headline UK and EU tour in early 2027. With a flawless reputation for their live shows and a wealth of critically acclaimed performances under their belts, the thirty-one date run will see Call Me Amour take their intense and energetic live performances all over the continent, continuing their ascension through the ranks of the alt scene.
