London-based DJ, producer and queer clubbing champion ABSOLUTE. shares his new glittering, alt-pop bop, ‘Stuck In Love’.
A candid yet upbeat track drawing on the sometimes challenging realities of romance, the heart-felt single signals new sounds to come from the talented, not to be pigeon-holed artist. In ABSOLUTE.’s own words: “Stuck In Love’ feels like the start of a new chapter for me, both scary and exciting to release something with a full original vocal, I’d been listening to a lot of Detroit electro so wanted to incorporate that rawness with some added Miami Sound Machine funk to contrast the vocal.
“It’s been one of my favourite records to play and make. It was originally written during lockdown, then after my recent tour of the US the track took on a whole new meaning when the lyrics ended up becoming my reality during my trip in LA, with art imitating life, it felt the perfect time to put this out into the world.”

Known for serious rave shakers, breakbeat stompers and disco-ready edits, following his acclaimed Wonderland debut EP, recent single ‘Dämmerung’, and his debut Essential Mix – recorded at the Iconic Shangri-La Gas Tower at Glastonbury’s mammoth 50th Anniversary – Anthony now makes his first foray into the world of alternative pop and it shines.
Throughout 2022 ABSOLUTE. has been storming festival stages, club floors and queer parties across the world including Glastonbury, CRSSD, Parklife, Milkshake Festival, fabric and many more – all part of a packed touring schedule that shows no sign of letting up, with a special second US tour ahead.
Cementing his space in the fashion world too, he has recently been snapped up by designers for musical direction and soundtracking including Jack Irving LFW SS22, Fred Perry and Raf Simons, and is an Ambassador for McQ. Also a passionate activist, he continues his work as a champion for LGBTQI+ rights and as an environmental campaigner alongside his life in music.
Cutting his teeth in London’s queer club scene as a promoter, the multifaceted artist is a champion for the LGBTQI+ rave community, committed to creating safe spaces. Learning to DJ aged 14 beatmatching on vinyl along to Pete Tong’s radio shows, the trailblazer and former Mixmag cover star is now storming the club scene worldwide.
