Rising UK artist ADMT releases his long-awaited and deeply personal debut album, From Good To Bad Then Back Again, featuring new focus track, 'Burn Brighter'.
Arriving after a whirlwind few months supporting Louis Tomlinson across the UK & Europe, and now looking ahead to his own sold-out headline tour, From Good To Bad Then Back Again is a raw, soul-stirring reflection on struggle and survival, is loaded with emotion and honesty as ADMT lays bare some of the hardest chapters of his life. The record is also driven by a deeper sense of responsibility and addresses subjects that matter, including poverty, housing issues, youth education, and especially mental health.
Of ‘Burn Brighter’, Adam explains; “I used to just tell myself it was normal. Go to work, 12 hour shifts and get on with it. I was working in a bottle factory, just repeating the same thing day in, day out. And for some people that’s enough but it never really felt right to me. I tried to ignore it for a long time. But it doesn’t really go away…I left not because I had some big plan or thought it would all work out but because not living my truth was suffocating me. It was probably the lowest point I’d been in. But staying felt worse. I just couldn’t keep doing something that didn’t feel like me. So I started pushing towards something, even if I didn’t fully know what it was yet.”

On the album, he adds, “This album is me trying to understand what it is to be human. Some love, some loss, some happiness and a lot of time spent learning about myself and the journey it takes to become who I want to be. It’s growth, making mistakes, feeling everything a bit too much and not always knowing where to put it. Every low and every setback, every moment I felt off track all led me back to myself in the end. I think a lot of the time we go from Good To Bad Then Back Again, and that’s what it is to be alive.”
Known for writing from the heart, ADMT’s music has always been a reflection of his lived experiences, from growing up in a difficult family environment to battling through mental health struggles. His background, steeped in perseverance, and Northern grit, gives his music a grounding that few artists can claim.
Initially honing his musical skills through busking during the COVID-19 pandemic, ADMT transitioned from playing drums in a band to becoming a solo performer after his friends encouraged him to sing at a party. His cover of 50 Cent’s ‘Best Friend’ went viral after 50 Cent himself shared it with his 29 million followers, propelling ADMT into the spotlight.
The last few months has seen ADMT (real name Adam Taylor) tour arenas across Europe and the UK supporting Louis Tomlinson. The reactions have been phenomenal, picking up new fans across the continent & further growing the welcoming, inclusive ADMT family who are connecting with the Doncaster singer’s deeply poignant lyrical themes.
And now, off the back of the UK & EU arena run, as well as his sold out tour this month, ADMT will take on his biggest UK headline tour to date. Taking place in February 2027, the tour will see him play his biggest venues, including London Koko & Leeds Project House.
