London-based DJ and producer Cameo Blush shares the title track from his forthcoming EP Just Concentrate.
Set for release on November 1 via Future Classic – and following on from last year’s Ultimate Grey EP on the label – Just Concentrate sees Cameo Blush shine as he continues to create anthemic tracks that capture the raw emotional energy of the club.
On Just Concentrate, Cameo Blush approaches the release in a story-like manner with the release starting and ending with the same jazz-influenced melodies. Inspired by the production on Abbey Road where music was intentionally adapted to the format it was consumed through.

On the EP, Cameo Blush says: “It made me think that with streaming now we find that all music is available all the time, listened to within playlists where the music is constantly changing, which to me feels like a constantly developing radio station, kind of like one you’d listen to whilst driving”
This is the basis of his new EP Just Concentrate, which is born from an imaginary radio station of the same name, with the release acting as a constant flow of different sounds and influences rolled into one whilst interjected with audio drops from an AI host.
Named one of Mixmag’s Top 25 Artists to Watch, Cameo Blush released the five-track Ultimate Grey EP in September 2023 on Future Classic, featuring collaborations with yunè pinku and Pretty Girl as his first foray into working with featured vocalists and a sidestep outside of conventional club structures.
His first release of 2024 saw him return to unknown – untitled (via new sub label ‘unknown – uncovered’) with ‘Z’, a single that the producer describes as “a turning point in my production, written in a new environment and looking ahead to a busy release schedule in 2024. The track represents a newfound confidence in my own artistry, and the value of simplicity in production”.
