Aberdeen quartet Cold Years share their latest single 'Radio', a power-pop fuelled track from their third studio album A Different Life.
‘Radio’ is a throwback to 2020 debut ‘Paradise’ a bittersweet reflection at their hometown of Aberdeen encapsulated in a pure power pop anthem reminiscent of Green Day, Alkaline Trio & the Bouncing Souls at their best. On the inspiration for the track, the band say: “Memories of growing up in a small town trying to deal with a few small minded people. I love where I am from, I love my home, but I never want to see some of those people again”.
Following on from 2020s Paradise, a politically charged look at life in their hometown of Aberdeen, and 2022’s soaring follow up Goodbye To Misery, Cold Years are returning in 2024 with their most triumphant record yet, A Different Life.
