David Guetta & Cedric Gervais team up again on ‘A Better World’

David Guetta and Cedric Gervais reunite on their huge new single, ‘A Better World’.

‘A Better World aims to bring dancefloors together this summer with its feel-good energy, hopeful lyrics, and is complete with replayed instruments and new vocals inspired by Jackie Moore’s joyful 70s hit. Full of soul and a nu-disco feel, the single also acts as a full circle moment for David and Cedric, taking inspiration from their early disco DJ sets in the underground clubs of Paris and Marseille.

Speaking on the record, Cedric Gervais has stated: “I’m very proud of this record we did with David. It comes back to our musical roots—being French, I grew up with French house: DJ Falcon, Cassius, Daft Punk, and many more incredible artists. That’s what we wanted to do with this record: bring back that sound!”

‘A Better World unites Guetta and Gervais once more after their 2016 collaboration Would I Lie to You, which now sits at a staggering 500m streams. Last year, they joined forces again on the huge Spinnin’ Records single, Switch. Cedric

Gervais has been a formidable force in dance music in recent years, this year releasing the hits Bad Girl and Feel Better with Sick Individuals, which followed last year’s Soy Candela and an updated remix of Eddie Amor’s 1997 classic, House Music, not forgetting an updated refresh of Nile Rodgers’s iconic We Are Family. He also hit the road, playing mainstage festival sets at the likes of EDC Orlando and Solar Music Festival to iconic venues like Cavo Paradiso and Marquee Vegas.

This summer, David returns to Ibiza with residencies at both Ushuaïa and the newly launched UNVRS, promising unforgettable nights throughout the season. In addition to his Ibiza takeover, David is set to headline some of the biggest festivals across the continent, including Creamfields, Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza, and Paléo Festival Nyon. He’ll also be performing in major stadiums, with highlights including a stop at the iconic Orange Vélodrome in Marseille, underlining his status as one of dance music’s most globally-loved icons.
