Southern California alternative rock band Dirty Heads release their new EP, Midnight Control Sessions: Night 2.
The EP features unreleased songs recorded during the Midnight Control album sessions, including latest focus track ‘John Linen’. The song features pro-surfer and singer Ivy Miller (known as Ivuss) and performance artist Alex Vince. On the track, Dirty Heads vocalist Jared Watson says: “John Linen isn’t about anything. Sometimes you just wanna make music that makes you feel a certain type of way. Sometimes you just wanna create cool shit for cool shit’s sake.”
“I’ve been good friends with Jared and his family for a few years now so when Jared called me up and told me to come by the studio I said “sure! Would love to see the dirty heads in action.” Thinking I’d be a fly on the wall …unbeknownst to me Jared had a little secret plan… next thing I know I’m in the studio singing an outro with Jared as my voice coach.” adds Ivy Miller.
