Eats Everything, Chris Lorenzo and Lily McKenzie have come together to open their accounts for 2024 on ‘Ghosts’.
Sonically personifying UK electronic music culture whilst telling the ubiquitous story of meeting someone on those dark dancefloors and only being left with the memories in the morning.
With its organ riff, rave stabs, chopped vocal and thunderous bass ‘Ghosts’ nods to many sub genres and eras which have defined UK club culture, from garage and house to bassline and dubstep. The three artists’ respective hometowns of Bristol, Birmingham and South London all hold their own unique position within the fabric of electronic music culture in the UK, something on display throughout ‘Ghosts’.

On the track, Eats Everything says: “It’s a proper UK sounding party record with Lily who is an amazing vocalist, it’s an organ tune and, although I’ve made organ records in the past I’ve never put one out as Eats Everything. This record was born in America when me and Lorenzo had a little soirée together! And then it was completed in the UK. Lorenzo’s a legend and we had such a wicked time making it. I really hope you all like it as much as we do.”
