Foor & Wavysof unveil latest DnB collaboration ‘Oh No’

Southampton dance music collective FooR join forces with Essex singer-songwriter Wavysof once more on latest single 'Oh No'.

The track is the latest collaboration between the two following the release of ‘Nights Of Our Lives’ and ‘Holding You’. The former was the first time FooR & Wavysof teamed up, with the track hit 10 million streams on Spotify and 1 million streams on Soundcloud this month just in time for the release of their new single. This year, FooR has seen their music supported by Sian Anderson & Jeremiah Asamiah on BBC Radio One as well as outlets such as UKF.

Since their 2018 album Friends of FooR charted in the Top 10 of the Official UK Dance Charts, the Southampton dance crew FooR have made waves across the UK bassline scene and beyond. Initially instrumental in the revival of the UK garage scene, Gavin Foord, Tyrone, Aki (Bear Like), and Jon Doe (CLSM) of FooR have showcased an impressive versatility, evolving to find success across various genres and debuting garage, D&B, and donk flips of classics from Whitney Houston to Skepta to the cheers of boisterous crowds.

Operating independently, the collective have launched the majority of their releases on their own labels SO, Garage Shared, GS Dubs, and YosH whilst previously landing tracks on major labels such as Warner Music and Relentless. Elsewhere, the group has remixed for the likes of Ghetts, Tinchy Stryder, Alesha Dixon, Wretch 32, Sneakbo and more.

Supported by the likes of Jauz, Holy Goof, and Skepsis, FooR have amassed global acclaim for releases like ‘3 Words’ with NME’s 2018 Emerging Artist Effie, which collected over 6m Spotify, and ‘See You In June with Ellie Evans, which has collected over 2m streams. Meanwhile, single Fresh’ earned over 7m Spotify streams and featured in a Coors Light advertising campaign while their collaboration with Mollie Collins Too Bad’ also saw support from BBC Radio 1, demonstrating their in demand skill for a collaboration.

Self-taught singer, rapper, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Wavysof is rapidly rising up the ranks with her signature concoction of undeniable story-telling ability and underground melodic sounds that have already seen support from BBC1XTRA and BBC Introducing.

After emerging into the scene at the end of 2020 and building her popularity on TikTok throughout the lockdown period, the 23-year-old Essex native already boasts extensive live experience, appearing at the Isle of Wight Festival, The Secret Garden Party Festival, Greenman Festival, and Shambala Festival in addition to supporting Will and The People on their UK tour.
