KH has released, 'Only Human (MPH Remix)' via Ministry of Sound, marking the first release of the year from Four Tet’s club-focused alias.
Originally released in 2019, Only Human samples Nelly Furtado’s Afraid and has since accumulated over six million streams. After hearing MPH’s remix, KH immediately backed the track, leading to its official release as a high-energy update built for contemporary dancefloors.
The remix comes from MPH, an up-and-coming UK garage DJ and producer who continues to gain momentum across the UK scene. He has previously remixed Calvin Harris’ ‘I’m Not Alone’, which has surpassed 15 million streams, and has recently received tastemaker support including a Radio 1 Sarah Story Track ID feature. MPH’s rework injects a modern garage swing while staying true to KH’s sample-heavy club sound.

The release also forms part of an upcoming Record Store Day 12” vinyl this April, featuring a curated collection of KH’s remixes to date. The limited-edition vinyl includes reworks from Chris Lake, Solomun and Clipz, celebrating KH’s ongoing influence across club and electronic music.
Kieran Hebden, the British producer and electronic musician best known as Four Tet, has issued some of his biggest club and festival hits under his initials, KH, including the aforementioned ‘Only Human’ and 2022’s ‘Looking at Your Pager’, which had been extensively featured in his DJ sets before their samples were cleared and they were officially released.
Since he began releasing music as Four Tet in the late ’90s, Hebden’s music has combined organic and electronic instrumentation, as well as influences ranging from hip-hop and ambient to folk and spiritual jazz. He occasionally delved into more club-friendly sounds during the 2000s, particularly his remixes and releases like 2008’s Ringer EP.
