Olivia Dean releases, 'Man I Need', the third single to be taken from her highly-anticipated second album, The Art of Loving, out September 26 via Capitol Records.
‘Man I Need’ hits like a bolt of pure positivity, a fearless love song powered by a driving rhythm section and Olivia’s smooth soul vocal. The accompanying video was directed by Jake Erland and features the same creative team behind the incredible visuals for previous singles Lady Lady and Nice To Each Other; of which stylistically the new visual serves as a ‘sister-video’ to the latter.
On the track, Olivia said, “Man I Need is a song about knowing how you deserve to be loved and not being afraid to ask for it. It’s forward, sexy, fun! It’s made for dancing!”

Poised as a tender, intentional deep dive into the many dimensions of love – romantic, platonic, self, and everything in between – The Art of Loving begins an exciting new chapter from one of the UK’s most mesmerising artists.
Olivia has just finished an extremely successful run of sold out live shows across North America, culminating in two nights at The Fonda Theatre in LA, treating fans to new material and as well as favourites from her debut album, Messy. Messy received widespread critical acclaim on release and cemented her status as one of the most compelling voices across neo-soul and pop.
More recently, Olivia has been opening for Sam Fender on his run of UK headline shows, including a show at London Stadium where they performed their new collaboration on Sam’s track, ‘Rein Me In’, for the first time, in front of a sold out crowd. She will also join Sam on his upcoming headline dates in Manchester and Edinburgh.
Olivia recently performed with Sabrina Carpenter at her BST Hyde Park show on July 6 and will be joining her again on a string of US dates in October and November, including five sold out nights at Madison Square Garden.
