Manchester MC Slay and multi-platinum selling drum and bass duo Sigma have teamed up to deliver their brand-new track ‘Kenny’.
Sampling Sting’s timeless classic ‘Shape Of Your Heart’, Slay and Sigma offer a refreshing club ready take on the original. Combining rolling drum patterns, rumbling basslines and Slay’s rapid-fire vocal delivery, the track is destined to take dancefloors by storm.
Cutting his teeth on the whirlwind come-up of grime in the early part of the millennium as part of the notorious Mayhem Crew, the gritty determination and honesty in Slay’s music has cemented a spot for him in the Northern halls of fame, with historic clashes, online freestyles and contribution to underground hits such as the seminal EA Sports anthem ‘Big in the Game’. Slay has collaborated with the likes of multi genre producer Chimpo, legendary producer Zed Bias, and more recently Bou on ‘Closer’ which hit the Top 25 in the UK Official Charts. Slay is an artist ready to take the culture beyond the fast hype and deep into the club and festival circuit with a recording acumen to back it all up.
