The Chemical Brothers hit track, 'Go' - originally released in 2015 - has recently become a viral hit after featuring in the new film, 'Apex', starring Charlize Theron and Taron Egerton.
Following the film’s release, the track has melted algorithms and racked up millions of streams worldwide in the last week across DSPs, TikTok and Instagram, taking it to a higher chart position now than when it was originally released.
The Grammy-nominated track originally appeared on the band’s Grammy nominated #1 album Born in the Echoes. Featuring a stunning vocal from New York rapper Q-Tip — his second collaboration with the band following the 2005 Top 3 single ‘Galvanize’ — ‘Go’ has since been sampled and remixed countless times over the past decade.

‘Go’ has also become a staple of The Chemical Brothers ’live shows, serving as the opening track at gigs since 2017. Each time, it lands like an explosion of frenetic energy, setting the stage for everything that follows — as witnessed during the band’s set at 2019 Glastonbury Festival, a performance that’s been watched over a million times on YouTube.
The video for ‘Go’ was directed by visionary filmmaker Michel Gondry, who has also collaborated with the band on ‘Let Forever Be’, ‘Star Guitar’ and ‘Got to Keep On’.
Meanwhile, Tom Rowlands has recently been working with Norwegian pop star AURORA under the name TOMORA. Debut album Come Closer was released in April, with the duo having since played their first live shows, from UK dates to packed tents at both weekends of Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
