Kent based electronic musician Venbee and Rudimental share their hot new collaborative single, 'die young'.
On Venbee’s forthcoming new single, ‘die young’ she has connected with, legendary artists who were an early inspiration of hers, the indomitable Rudimental. On this latest heavyweight drum and bass banger, Venbee’s introspective songwriting has her baring her soul once again, washing away the tears as she sips away her sins.
On the track, Venbee says: “die young was written about the time I felt and was my lowest. It’s based around a conversation I had with my granny when I was going through it. I wrote the hook in my bedroom and took it into a session with nick and rick and it’s turned into what you are listening to today!”

Venbee is a rising 22 year old artist and songwriter who has been having a breakout moment out with her music. Unapologetically herself, you just can’t help but like Venbee. Hailing from Kent, she’s a Chatham girl through and through, and as far from pretentious as you can get: her Instagram is all bucket hats, oversized tracksuits and toilet selfies… a refreshing candid breath of fresh air in the highly curated social world.
Right from the off Venbee has been on a tear, from dropping her viral debut ‘Lowdown’ and ‘Messy In Heaven’ – reaching #3 in the UK chart – to her recent candid single ‘Gutter’ where she bared all… her infectious mix of visceral drum’n’bass and raw honest lyrics have announced her as a force to be reckoned with.
One of the brightest and most successful acts of the last 12 months, she has also been lauded across the board: NME 100 Artist, Amazon Music’s Artists To Watch, TikTok featured artist, BBC Music Introducing – Tips For 2023, Kiss FM – Future Hype and MTV PUSH UK Nominee.
Venbee has made a welcome entry to the stage with key performances at All Points East, Printworks, SXSW, The Great Escape plus her first Sold- Out UK live tour under her belt. More recently she made her TV debut on Later With Jools Holland with a live performance of ‘Gutter’ and appearing on stage at Radio 1’s Big Weekend. She is also scheduled to appear at festivals including Glastonbury and Reading & Leeds this summer.
Reconnection is a theme that lies at the core of Rudimental’s new chapter. The band (Piers Aggett, Kesi Dryden, and Leon “Locksmith” Rolle) have gone full circle with their new material, including latest single ‘Dancing is Healing’. The dynamism and energy inherent in the drum & bass genre has been essential to the Rudimental sound from day one. Born ravers at heart, they have an innate ability to ignite festival stages and clubs around the world, and it’s this intrinsic spirit of the rave that has reemerged in their forthcoming singles.
