Nemzzz releases, 'AP Freestyle', a raw and unfiltered track dedicated to his fans who have been waiting patiently for new music.
His first release since June, the track arrives following a summer of standout festival appearances and months of anticipation. ‘AP Freestyle’ is less about commercial polish and more about energy, honesty and connection. It is a direct offering to the supporters who have fueled his rise from local talent to one of the most consistent new voices in UK rap.
This release follows the momentum of Nemzzz’s breakout mixtape Rent’s Due and its expanded deluxe edition, which debuted in the UK Official Albums Chart Top 10 earlier this year. With streaming numbers now surpassing one billion globally, strong DSP support and a growing international presence including collaborations with Central Cee, D-Block Europe, Kyle Richh, Chy Cartier and most recently Latto on his June single ‘ART’, Nemzzz continues to carve out a unique space in the rap landscape.

Nemzzz is a rapper and artist from Gorton, Manchester, known for his calm flow, introspective tone, and considered approach to music. Emerging with tracks like ‘2MS’ and ‘Elevate’, his style has resonated widely, earning him a Top 10 UK charting mixtape, multiple collaborations with leading artists, and over a billion global streams. His work reflects a clear vision and evolving voice within UK rap.
While Rent’s Due and ‘ART’ showcased a deliberate evolution in sound, ‘AP Freestyle’ captures Nemzzz in his most immediate form: sharp, off the cuff and deeply connected to his roots. It is a reminder of why his earliest freestyles and loosies resonated with audiences in the first place, and a signal of the creative versatility still to come.
With festival stages behind him and more music on the horizon, Nemzzz is entering the next phase of his journey, one that balances growth, experimentation and staying true to the voice his fans first championed.
