East London’s genre-fluid rap talent Kidwild returns with his new single, ‘Remontada’, a hard-hitting collaboration with South London artist, Blanco.
The track is an unapologetic comeback anthem, fusing Kidwild’s sharp lyricism with Blanco’s slick and commanding delivery.
Layered with textured beats, reworked vocals and cinematic football-inspired imagery, ‘Remontada’ sets the tone from its opening gunshot. Packed with lines about extra time, the grind, and refusing complacency, it’s a motivational anthem rooted in resilience: playing through the odds, counting blessings, and pushing for more when others would settle. Tottenham supporter Kidwild and Manchester City fan Blanco bring their rivalry into the fold, lacing the track with stadium-ready energy and undeniable authenticity.

Remontada follows Kidwild’s acclaimed summer release ‘The Truth’ (with LeoStayTrill), praised by Rolling Stone UK, CLASH and NOTION. Earlier this year, Kidwild created an exclusive verse of his breakout hit ‘Redemption’ for Tottenham FC’s Europa League campaign, cementing his unique connection between music, sport and culture. His debut EP Distro Kid (Jan 2025) showcased his versatility across five tracks – from introspective late-night confessions to razor-sharp bars – and featured Nemzzz on the charting single ‘Redemption’.
A viral rap phenomenon, Kidwild’s rise has been meteoric. From freestyles that racked up millions on TikTok to co-signs from Central Cee, Skepta and Nemzzz, he’s become one of the most charismatic new names in UK rap. With headline-ready singles like ‘Popular Loner’ and ‘Indecisive’, plus a standout On The Radar freestyle in late 2024, Kidwild was named a Complex UK Artist To Watch and continues to carve his lane at the forefront of the scene.
