Swedish House Mafia & Lykke Li combine forces on their euphoric new single, 'Happiness Is So Sad'.
Uniting two of Sweden’s biggest global artists, ‘Happiness Is So Sad’ is a record that reflects on how the happiest moments are often the hardest to say goodbye to. The track was first teased during SHM’s Ushuaïa residency a couple of weeks ago, and Sebastian Ingrosso also played it at Tomorrowland on the weekend, alongside surprise guest Steve Angello.
The single marks the first collaboration between the two artists and is about how joy and loss live in the same memory. Produced by Swedish House Mafia, PARISI and Fred Again, the single was recorded in Stockholm and features Max Martin and Oscar Holter among its songwriters.

Formed in 2008, Swedish House Mafia – Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso – quickly established themselves as one of the most influential acts in electronic music. They brought house music to arenas, bridging club culture and global stages through bold production, uncompromising live shows, and a clear artistic vision. Superhuman will serve as the primary platform for future Swedish House Mafia releases, as well as a launchpad for a new generation of emerging talent.
