British-Colombian singer-songwriter Sasha Keable drops her playful and confident new single, 'options'.
‘options’ depicts an all-to-familiar aftermath of a breakup: ‘calling you so we can have some breakup sex / don’t look at me crazy when I’m in your bed’ teases Keable, over silky smooth R&B, written with Eddie Lopes [Sienna Spiro, Olivia Dean]. ‘When I walked into the studio Eddie had already been working on the melody. I started singing back to him the first thing that came into my head: ‘breakup sex’ – and that became the lyric, I was like, right, that’s what we’re talking about.’ On ‘options’, Sasha is the master of her own desire as we see her at her most self-assured.
This new offering comes in the wake of the official release of her Tiny Desk performance, where powerhouse vocalist Sasha Keable delivered an unforgettable performance.

This year, Sasha has gone from strength to strength, amassing two MOBO nominations (bringing her total nominations to three), her first BRIT nomination, over 200 million global streams, as well as touring with R&B titan Giveon on his US and EU tour. Sasha wowed fans at Roots Picnic in London co-headlining with Nas, she also impressed her US fans while performing before Jay-Z at Roots Picnic in Philadelphia. Recently she also performed to a packed audience in Dublin while supporting Olivia Dean on her “The Art Of Loving” tour.
‘pptions’ follows the release of ACT II, an expanded 12-track continuation of her deeply personal EP act right. The deluxe project introduced five brand-new compositions that deepen the narrative arc of love, heartbreak, and self-preservation. ‘ceiling fan’ acts as the introduction to the new tracks, featuring a stripped-back, vocal-centric style that muses on navigating a difficult relationship. ‘nobody’ further expands the compelling story of heartbreak and emotional vulnerability, and ‘heal something’ serves as the instrumentally refined new single, communicating deep yearning through artfully restrained production.
