Get set for every round of the 2025 season with the new Betfred Women's Super League Official Playlist on Spotify.
Launched as a collaboration between Super League, Women’s Rugby League and Shoot Music, the playlist went live ahead of the opening game of the 2025 season between Wigan Warriors and defending champions York Valkyrie.
The 2025 season – the ninth since the league was formed – saw Valkyrie looking to put together a record breaking season as they aim for their third consecutive title in a row, which would also make them the most successful team in the competition’s history. Standing between them and greatness at the Grand Final on October 5 alongside Wigan were Barrow Raiders, Huddersfield Giants, fellow two-time title winners Leeds Rhinos, newly promoted Leigh Leopards, St Helens and Warrington Wolves.
Ahead of all 14 rounds, the Official Betfred Women’s Super League Playlist will act as the perfect soundtrack to get fans pumped up for their teams games, with the top 5 tracks on the playlist for each round picked by some of your favourite Women’s Rugby League stars. Sport Playlists will collate a selection of each player’s picks to form the matchday playlist for the Grand Final in October.
The Grand Final sees last season’s defeated finalists and the 2025 League Leaders Shield Winners Wigan Warriors host St Helens at the Brick Community Stadium. The packed Grand Final playlist features tracks picked by players of both sides, songs submissions from supporters and a selection of the Player Playlist picks from throughout the 2025 season.
Alongside player picks, Sport Playlists are working with the Betfred Women’s Super League to ensure the playlist is updated weekly and championing new releases from female artists on the playlist.
