Global superstar Harry Styles breaks his three-year musical hiatus, announcing the release of his brand-new single, 'Aperture'.
The track serves as the lead invitation into his newly announced fourth studio album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally., set for global release on March 6.
‘Aperture’ marks a significant sonic evolution for the Grammy Award-winning artist. Moving away from the intimate indie-pop of 2022’s Harry’s House, the new single leans into a pulse-pounding, nocturnal synth-pop sound, heavily influenced by the electronic music scenes of Berlin and Italy. Produced by long-time collaborator Kid Harpoon, the track is described as an “experimental yet anthemic mission statement” for this new era.

The title ‘Aperture’ borrows from the world of photography, referring to the lens opening that dictates how much light enters a camera. This serves as the central metaphor for the song’s lyrical themes of vulnerability and transparency.
“I’ve spent the last couple of years being an audience member again,” says Styles. “Being in a crowd, in a dark pit, dancing with people—it reminded me of that feeling of togetherness. I wanted to make something that felt like letting the light in after a long time away.”
Harry Styles’ third solo album, Harry’s House, broke new ground for one of the most creative forces in pop music, a star who keeps refusing to stand still. The record debuted at #1 on the Billboard Charts and moved 521,00 equivalent album units in its first week. ‘As It Was’, the critically acclaimed lead single, became an instant record-breaking hit, debuting at #1 in both the US. and the UK, becoming the most-streamed song in the US in a single day in Spotify history and the most-streamed song globally in a single day of 2022.
