London-based producer Oscar Farrell returns with new single 'Like You Are For Me', an expertly crafted piece of 2-step coded electronica.
Out today via dh2, the track showcases the up-and-coming producers ability to create emotive yet driving dance music that perfectly compliments what he started with previous single ‘Running Free’ released earlier this year. Both tracks are taken from his his debut EP, I’ve Already Called, out on April 4.
Across just five tracks, Oscar’s illuminating debut body of work reflects his deep understanding of a variety of club-styles – taking in airy moments of 2-step, grounding basslines and glitchy, chopped vocals (provided by Oscar himself). Further to the news of the EP, Oscar has also recently released a collaborative track with dh2 label head and drummer for The 1975, George Daniel. Entitled ‘volc3’ the track sees both individuals come together for a deep bass cut that has since become a staple part of both DJ’s sets.

Oscar began his year by announcing his debut EP and has since been busy creating, collaborating and taking his dynamic DJ sets to venues across the globe.
Having closed 2024 with an incendiary set at Brixton’s Phonox for the second ever dh2 club night (the label he now calls home), Oscar has since DJ’d at New York’s Public Records alongside labelmates George Daniel and Kelly Lee Owens. On the day of the EP release, Oscar will once again join George Daniel and Associanu to play in LA in collaboration with Lights Down Low – but not before playing his own launch party in his home town on March 21 at ‘The Glove That Fits’, an event that sold out days after it’s announcement.
